Dr. Gordon Levin, Dentist

Dr. Gordon Levin, Dentist

Dr. Levin really enjoys the balance of being the dentist at Valley Dental Clinic and the involvement with local theaters, as well as serving as the Cowichan Valley Capitals team dentist. While he enjoys being a restorative dentist, Dr. Levin’s greatest professional interest lies in explaining and helping to eliminate inflammatory disease as it occurs in the mouth. The importance of finding solutions to systemic inflammation for our patients and ourselves is central to Dr. Levin’s work.

She manages to wander from time to time during Dr. Levin’s exams and much to his amusement. So if you want to learn more about optimal oral health and Waterpik, she’s the person to ask!

Ranjit is a very loyal, trusted and friendly. She is a trusted part of the team. The amount of pride she shows in her work is unsurpassed by only her love and importance of family, of which we consider her as one of our one. Dianna Marsh, Receptionist

Dianna Marsh, Receptionist

Dianna was the latest to join the office in early 2017. She decided to leave the banking industry and join the world of dentistry (coincidentally her 2 children and husband needed braces). During her time off you can find her sleeping or at hockey or baseball games depending on the season… but regardless she is still sleeping.

We know that many people come to the dental clinic with fear and anxiety. We believe that we can and do overcome those fears, usually without the need for sedative drugs; but, those are available too.

We also know that there is a clear link between keeping teeth and gums healthy and reducing the risk of serious health issues, for example heart disease and stroke. We know this because of the medical research that has clearly demonstrated the effect of inflammation in the mouth on susceptible tissues elsewhere in the body. Please see the “maintaining health” area of our website for further information.

Also please visit our sections devoted to explaining the many areas of advanced treatment we provide in everything from prevention to tooth restoration, cosmetic dentistry, tooth replacement using implants etc., orthodontic correction of bite problems, including early childhood intervention to prevent future bite problems and a host of other treatments available at Valley Dental Clinic.

Our primary goal is to provide all our services in a warm welcoming and caring environment, with friendly, respectful treatment.
